Observe the sky : UFOs are real

The most recent UFO survey of Americans found that about 42 million of us have seen something in the sky that we couldn't identify. UFO researchers generally believe that about 90 percent of sightings can be attributed to natural causes such as meteorites, planets, birds, aircraft, satellites, or the moon shining through clouds. However, the remaining 10 percent of reports cannot be so easily explained away. The most intriguing reports often include close-encounter events (within 500 feet) with multiple witnesses who often are highly respected members of the community, such as police officers and pilots.
By UFOs I mean "flying saucers" or alien crafts.
The modern wave of UFO sightings and reports began with the July 1947 Roswell, N.M., event. More than 60 years later the phenomenon is alive and well with at least 100 sightings per day around the world. An O'Hare Airport sighting in November 2006 was also given wide press coverage after a story by Jon Hilkevitch was published in the Chicago Tribune. A disc was seen in broad daylight hovering over gate C-17, just below the 1,900-foot cloud ceiling. After some moments the saucer left, leaving a doughnut hole in the clouds for several moments and allowing airport personnel to see the blue sky through the hole that had been created.
The most recent series of UFO events took place in Stephenville, Texas, between December and March. Some of the activity was not far from President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. The most dramatic sighting occurred on Jan. 9. A huge craft, some estimates put it at a mile long and a half mile wide, was reported by dozens of witnesses. The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has recently obtained radar readings via the FOIA that show something strange and unexplained was seen on that night in the skies over Texas and that a craft traveled at 1,900 mph without breaking the sound barrier.
Let's not forget a couple of the most well-known UFO cases of all time, one that occurred right in our own backyard, and which remains a true classic UFO event. In 1966 cases in the Dexter and Hillsdale areas created quite a ruckus and news of these sightings was reported in every major newspaper in the country. The Air Force sent its "front man" for UFO investigations (Project Blue Book), Dr. Allen Hynek, to investigate.
Hynek carried out an investigation and a press conference was held in Detroit. He admitted he didn't know for sure what people had seen in Dexter and Hillsdale but that swamp gas was a possible culprit. This, unfortunately, was what the press picked up on. Hynek became the laughingstock of the nation for a time as the press and citizens just didn't buy that explanation. The Air Force finally got out of the UFO business (publicly anyway) and Project Blue Book was terminated in 1969. The business of publicly investigating UFO cases today is undertaken by individuals and groups such as MUFON.
Hynek eventually became one of the few scientists of the day who saw the need to take the UFO topic seriously and that it needed further study. He eventually came to believe that some UFOs were interplanetary crafts. In 1973, after leaving government work, Hynek founded the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS). I call Hynek the "grandfather of ufology" and it was an honor for me to work with him as an investigator for a time. Hynek died in 1986.
Many scientists agree that the chances for life existing someplace else in the universe are a slam dunk.
There's a nearby galaxy that's a billion years older than our home, the Milky Way. And if life somewhere else was just a bit more evolved than us, they easily could be thousands of years ahead of us technologically.
Having had a recent online discussion with several skeptics/debunkers, I noted two arguments they continually pointed to. First, they argued, the distances are simply too far and it would take too long for trips between star systems. Second, they seemed to think that UFO sightings are nothing but faraway, hazy lights in the sky. Both arguments demonstrate a lack of knowledge about the phenomena, and narrow thinking.
Some scientists believe that space itself can be bent, warped, or folded and that "worm holes" may allow for shorter space travel times. Time slows as one approaches light speed.
Many UFO reports are not just "hazy lights" in the sky. Some sightings are daylight events. Skeptics/debunkers overlook the landing trace cases on record which show remarkable evidence that a physical object was present. Former NASA astronaut and moonwalker Dr. Edgar Mitchell has just recently claimed that aliens exist and are visiting Earth.
And what of our own military and the UFO phenomenon? Richard Dolan's exhaustive work, "UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Cover-up 1941-1973," is a true eye-opener regarding UFO activity that our military has encountered.There is not sufficient space herein to answer the $64 question, "why is the government hiding the truth?" Since 1947 there has been a government policy to debunk, make fun of, and discredit people who have had a UFO encounter. However, there appears to be some movement in bringing to light what many of us know to be true: We are not alone in the universe and we are being visited now. Keep your eyes on the sky.

UFO ENTHUSIASTS GATHER IN CHILE’S REGION VII

A National Ufology Conference is set to take place this weekend near the Region VII mountain town of San Clemente. Ufology – sometimes spelled UFOlogy – is the study of all phenomena related to Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).The convention begins Friday, Aug. 17 and is organized by San Clemente’s City Hall and Tourism Chamber. It also enjoys backing from the Chilean government’s National Tourism Service (SERNATUR).

“It’s great for us if the UFO phenomenon can serve also as a tourist attraction, encouraging visitors to get to know Region VII’s mountain zone, which has such a tremendous biological value,” said SERNATUR head Oscar Santelices.The gathering will take place in the Refugio Nacional Biota Maule, located in Vilches near the entrance of the Altos de Lircay National Reserve. Chilean ufologists say the Reserve is a common place for UFO sightings.“This is an emblematic place in Chile where UFOs have appeared regularly. It’s a hot spot, a window for observing UFOs in Chile,” Rodrigo Fuenzalida, director of Chile’s Ufology Investigation Group (AION), told the Santiago Times. “The idea behind the gathering is to forge an alliance between researchers and the Chilean government in order to promote the San Clemente area as a center for a different kind of tourism.”A similar gathering took place this past February in Viña del Mar, Region V (ST, Feb. 8). The highlight of that meeting was a display of photographs taken by members of Chile’s Armed Forces. Captured on one of those photographs was an image of a spherical metallic object flying over Antarctica. Also presented during the conference was a video recorded in 2000 of Navy ships being pursued by a luminous object.A more recent UFO sighting took place in May – near the Collahuasi mine in Region I. On that occasion, a very large, spherical object hovered in the sky for a full 24 hours.

“It’s an emblematic case because people were able to video record it. It had a very large structure and was seen by a lot of people… It was enormous, with shiny metal, and the whole time it was just stationary,” said Fuenzalida. As part of the upcoming event, Fuenzalida will deliver a presentation entitled “UFOS, The Best Images in Chile.” Other speakers will include psychiatrist Mario Dussuel, journalist Enrique Silva, and Marcelo Moya, a researcher.According to Fuenzalida and his colleagues, Chile has a number of particularly good UFO viewing sites, among them Huara, in Region I’s Atacama Desert; Region V’s Laguna Verde area; and Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales in Region XII.“Chile is a place that has recurring sightings,” the AION director said. “Keep in mind that of all the cases that occur in Chile, only 5 percent are reported in the press.”By Benjamin Witte (benwitte@santiagotimes.cl)

Odd Stones Found In China Formed About 300 million Years Ago

On May 27, 2007, several dozen "UFO" shaped gangues were found in Shangrao County, Jiangxi Province. Experts indicate that the UFO gangues were formed about 300 million years ago.
The UFO gangues were found in an abandoned heap of gangues. There are several coal mines around the heap. Gangues are the abandoned materials left after the coal has been extracted from the rock. Among these UFO gangues, several of them have diameters over 4.9 feet and thicknesses between 7.9 inches and 23.6 inches. They weighed between 1764 pounds and 1 ton.
An engineer from the Shangrao Coal Bureau suggested that the ages of the UFO gangues are between the Paleozoic Late Carboniferous and Early Permian, so they're about 300 million years ago.

GINGER: 'OMG I WAS ABDUCTED'

WILDHEARTS frontman GINGER believes he was kidnapped and taken on board a UFO as a child.The British glam rocker - real name David Walls - says the experience as a five-year-old child forced him out of his neighbourhood.He says, "I'm sure that I was taken on board a UFO when I was five. Obviously I can't prove it so I don't know. I went into hypnotic regression to try and get to the bottom of what happened, but I couldn't target that particular instance; what it did was target an out-of-body experience I had as a kid."All I remember about the UFO was that it was huge and it came across the houses and then absolutely nothing and just running to my friends house and when I woke up it was cold and dark."My friend was in hysterics; he was crying and his mother was like 'You go away!' We moved from the area soon afterwards so I never found out what happened."

Full Truthful UFO Disclosure impossible under capitalism

Individuals and groups that currently seek full truthful disclosure concerning UFOs and Extraterrestrials (ETs) could be viewed to have an unrealistic goal. Full truthful disclosure can only occur if the prevailing capitalism can be replaced by a people-driven economic system.
The current prevailing capitalist economic system is driven by greed and exploitation. Such a milieu of greed and exploitation would seek to either cover-up or to spread manipulative dis-information about things. This includes UFO's and Extraterrestrials, that would liberate humanity from that system of greed and exploitation.
Disclosure advocates who hope that the Establishment, for example, will all of a sudden become enlightened and provide humanity access to alleged "free energy" and other ET technologies, which would free humanity from fossil fuel industries, (that in turn is creating catastrophic Global Warming), are not being realistic.

UFO and Extraterrestrial disclosure advocates, must inspire a totally rejuvenated people driven political economic system, freed of a greed and exploitation context, BEFORE humanity can be finally provided with a truthful context of disclosure about UFO and Extraterrestrials. Until that time, government released information concerning disclosure, will have no more integrity than the current "War on Terrorism", and other such orchestrated capitalism-inspired crusades and mass-deceptions.
Indeed, scholars suggest that former U.S. President John F. Kennedy allegedly sought to want to fully disclose government knowledge about UFOs and Extraterrestrials to the American people, toward the benevolent use of UFO technology for all of humankind. It would appear that many interests did not share John F. Kennedy's non-capitalistic commitments.

"I saw a UFO" - Mick Jagger

CosmicParadigm.com staff reports that Michael C Luckman - author of Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection - says The Rolling Stones rocker developed an interest in extraterrestrial phenomena after a close encounter of the third kind in the 60s.
Luckman said: "Mick Jagger has been very involved with the subject of UFOs for many years.
"In 1968 he went camping in Glastonbury with his then girlfriend, singer Marianne Faithful, and encountered a rare, luminous cigar-shaped mothership.
"Around the same time Mick had a UFO detector installed at his British estate. The alarm kept on going off whenever he left home, indicating the presence of strong electromagnetic activity in the immediate area."
The 63-year-old singer also sighted a UFO over the crowd during The Rolling Stones' infamous 1969 Altamont Concert in California.
Mick is not the only member of the band to believe in aliens. Guitarist Keith Richards has also admitted to "seeing a few".

Beatles legend John Lennon is another musician Luckman claims has experienced personal contact with beings from another planet.
He said: "John Lennon was apparently given a small egg shaped metallic-looking object which he in turn gave to Uri Geller, the psychic.
"He didn't know what the purpose of it was, but he claimed he had been given it by an extraterrestrial."
"This all happened less than a year before he was assassinated," CosmicParadigm.com staff further reports.

Earthlike planet discovery – A step nearer to ET

The recent discovery of an Earthlike planet called Gliese 581 C has once again raised hopes that we will eventually discover life on other planets, and confirm what most of us have believed for some time, we are not alone!
Scientists say that Gliese 581 C is about 50 percent larger than Earth, with temperatures much like ours, and probably capable of supporting the kind of life we are familiar with. Gliese 581 C was found orbiting a red dwarf star that is about one third as massive as the Sun.
The new planet is certainly an ideal target for future exploration, but at a distance of 20.5 light years, it may be some time before we get a chance to find out more.
Of course, we often assume that it is humans that will have to travel out into space to make contact with our alien neighbors, and sometimes forget it is more likely that they will visit us first.
Whilst some people still have difficulty in accepting that UFO sightings are confirmation that they already know we exist, the evidence suggests that there are a limitless number of planets in our universe that could support life.
Unfortunately, the mainstream media continue to ridicule such ideas and always treat UFO sightings as a joke (perhaps they still believe the world is flat?). This is not helped by some governments who feel the need to dismiss all UFO reports without considering any investigation, and automatically issue the standard explanation that it was a cloud, Venus, or their all time favorite, a weather balloon!

Is it any wonder that many people believe that “governments” have already made contact with aliens and are covering up this possibility? Can all these sightings be the imagination of some lunatic fringe that sits outside all day long with their cameras, wearing tin foil hats? Of course not!
In the book “Global Warming – The Final Solution”, I wrote that aliens rescue the survivors of a doomed planet (Earth), from the devastating effects of Global Warming (and I wasn’t wearing a tin foil hat when I wrote it either!). This may seem very far fetched to some, but is it?
Humans appeared very recently (and quickly) in our planets history, too quickly perhaps to have “evolved” as many think. Is it not possible that we were brought here from another planet, a planet that faced some catastrophic ending? And if it is, could we be moved again, if it became necessary?
People often ask why aliens don’t make contact with us, if they really do exist (assuming they haven’t already). This question is based on the arrogance that we believe we are sufficiently intelligent to warrant such communication.
We live on a planet with millions of other creatures, but we don’t try talking to Ants (for example), even though they do have intelligence, because we feel we are vastly superior to them. Maybe to some advanced alien race, we are seen in much the same way?
One day, we will discover the answer to life on other planets, and perhaps find out more about our own. This knowledge may be exciting to some, but probably will come as a shock to most.
